Trail Center Fujiyama in Japan

What our team of ALLEGRA Asia in cooperation with Fujikyuko has set up is impressive: A approximately 3.5 km long trail, which offers riding fun for all levels – embedded in the Grinpa amusement park and with a fantastic view of the Mount Fuji. The FUJIYAMA TRAIL trail center is open!

The trail is designed as a coherent system: Let's start in the Skill Center, where guests can learn the basics of mountain biking and practice their first riding techniques. Afterwards, they continue on the gentle Uphill, which makes even the climb an experience. Once at the top, a spectacular Panoramic view of Mount Fuji is waiting for all who have mastered the climb. The subsequent Downhill leads in wide curves around an ancient volcanic crater back to the valley.

The whole trail is compleneted by an asphalt loop, which is directly integrated into the trail system - and is also appealing to brand new riders or kids.

A-Team Asia in Grinpa

GROUNDBREAKING WITH OBSTACLES

In February, the A-Team Asia - consisting of Marc, taro, Daisaku, Ryosuke, Cyril and Seya  – on site with the construction of the first sections of the Trail centers started. Trail specialist Colin even traveled from Switzerland especially for the start of construction. The construction of the Trail Center started in the first round with a Mini Skill Center, a green uphill trail and a green Downhill trail. But things weren't going to be that easy. Instead of the expected mild temperatures, winter returned. The team had to improvise and began construction despite the icy temperatures and frozen ground. Chapeau!

TECHNICALLY SMART & SUSTAINABLE

The route runs on a special surface: a mixture of Lapilli (small volcanic rock fragments) and local clay forms the basis – ideal for good drainage and a weatherproof driving experience.

In addition to the trail itself, a comprehensive Signage system with overview maps, entry signs and signposts. Our team also trained the park staff on site so that Maintenance and operation of the trail secured in the long term are.

A TRAIL FOR EVERYONE

Whether you're doing your first laps in the Skill Center, enjoying the uphill, or circling the crater via flowing curves - the new trail in Grinpa is the perfect introduction to the world of mountain biking.
