Project description:

The VELOPARK Skills area acts as the perfect introduction to the trail and offers an excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the various obstacles. On a track of around 50 meters, riders can improve their skills and prepare themselves optimally for the challenges of the trail.

The VELOPARK Trail, on the other hand, invites riders of all ages and levels to familiarize themselves with the techniques of mountain biking in a fun way. Although the course is also suitable for beginners, it is recommended to use the practice area first to prepare yourself as best as possible. With different variants and levels of difficulty on the trail, every rider can find their own line and improve step by step.

target group:

The VELOPARK in Orsa Grönklitt is aimed at all those who love nature and adventure. Whether you are small or large, ambitious or a beginner - what counts is taking part. And so you can slowly work your way from module to module in the upstream skills area with no previous knowledge and then later apply what you have learned on the VELOPARK trail at a faster pace and one after the other.

Location & Size

The 400-meter-long trail leads through a picturesque forest and exudes a mystical atmosphere. There are various modules along the way, including balance elements, jumps and curves that challenge riders and guarantee a varied ride. The VELOPARK Skill Center is located in front of it. Overall, the area is perfectly laid out for a few hours of time out on the bike for the whole family.

Special feature:

Not long ago, the Orsa region benefited from the famous predator park and attracted tourists. Since its closure, however, the Orsa cable cars have found a clever solution and have had a double dose of VELOPARK for the warm summer months: with a training area in the valley and a long trail for everyone. The days of watching bears and wolves are over. Today, people drop, jump and experience the flow - but above all, they pedal themselves! This attracts locals and visitors alike.
