A NEW MOUNTAIN BIKING HOTSPOT IS BEING CREATED IN SWITZERLAND

The Bike Park Moléson establishes itself! Since September 4, 2024, mountain bikers have been enjoying the first two trails at Bikepark Moléson: The two flow trails are perfect for beginners, families, and advanced riders. But that's not enough to offer guests a diverse range of options! A challenging enduro trail will open in spring/summer 2025, making the bike park even more attractive for sporty riders. The combination of breathtaking Alpine scenery, well-designed routes, and direct lift access makes Bikepark Moléson an absolute insider tip among bike parks.

ROUND 1: THE FIRST TRAILS OF THE MOLÉSON BIKE PARK

Flow trail under construction

With the implementation of the two flow trails “Modzon” and “Poya”, the foundation for the Bike park Moléson was laid. Our team from ALLEGRA Switzerland planned this project with a clear vision: to create varied, fun routes that are suitable for both beginners and advanced mountain bikers.

Of the Conception about the Construction planning until the final Implementation The A-Team under the project management of Colin ensured that the Trails are perfectly integrated into the alpine landscape. With well-thought-out routing, sustainable construction, and playful elements, the trails offer a smooth riding experience for all skill levels – always with a view of the breathtaking panorama of the Alpine backdrop.

MODZON FLOW TRAIL | NO. 801

  • Length: 3,120 km

  • Meters in altitude: 300 m

  • Character: Playful and flowing, with lots of waves, berms and tables.

POYA FLOW TRAIL | NO. 802

  • Length: 3,230 km

  • Meters in altitude: 250 m

  • Character: A little steeper than Modzon, with fast corners and flowing sections.

Both trails start at the Plan-Francey mid-station and are easily accessible by chairlift. Thanks to the blue classification, they offer a perfect mix of accessibility and challenge, making them ideal for families, teenagers, advanced riders and groups of friends.

These first two trails mark the start of the Moléson Bike Park – and are just the beginning!

ROUND 2: A RED ENDURO TRAIL EXTENDS THE OFFER

Already in Autumn 2024 The ALLEGRA team has started building a red enduro track This trail was completed in spring 2025 and is ready for the official opening of the bike park on May 16, 2025.

In contrast to the flow trails, the enduro trail is built with minimal structural interventions. The construction work is carried out mainly by handto ensure the best possible natural character. The route will closely follow the existing terrain and feature technically challenging sections.

From its opening on May 16, 2025, the trail will initially be in a race mode layout , ie some passages marked with tape – similar to an enduro race. Gradual minor optimizations will be made over the summer before the trail is finally opened towards the end of the season.

TCHÉ DON ENDURO TRAIL | NO. 803

  • Length: 2,045 km

  • Meters in altitude: 300 m

  • Character: Somewhat steeper and more technical than the flow trails, the natural enduro trail offers a mix of tight turns, flowing sections, and challenging passages – ideal for experienced riders.

Potential analysis and concept development Gravel Northwest Iceland

Our mission in northwest Iceland: To analyze whether and in what form there is potential for cycling in this region.

Product development Gravel Ruka-Kuusamo

After developing a gravel network with over 900 kilometers of routes, the next question arose: How do we market this offering? How can we differentiate ourselves from our competitors? And how can we attract potential guests to a region near the Arctic Circle?

Three steps to a successful gravel offering

We support destinations on their journey to a successful gravel offering: from potential analysis to concept development and product development.

Mountain bike master plan: The answer to the winter question

Can a professional mountain bike business be economically viable enough to represent a genuine alternative to the winter business?

Moving away from winter dependency – towards year-round tourism: Alpine tourism is at a turning point.

Moving away from winter dependency and towards year-round tourism: Alpine tourism is facing a fundamental transformation. Climate change and new guest expectations demand a rethink. Strategies like the "Snow Compass" show concrete ways in which destinations can secure their future. Mountain biking tourism, in particular, is developing into a key growth driver with high added value and great potential for the summer and shoulder seasons.
