Project description:

The very familiar TCS Camping Salavaux Plage**** is located in western Switzerland, directly on Lake Murten. The campsite borders the longest sandy beach in Switzerland and is surrounded by numerous trees and untouched nature. There are also countless paths for wonderful bike tours in the surrounding area. AND: A modular pump track! The pump track will expand the range of bicycles available at TCS Camping Salavaux Plage to make the site even more attractive for this target group

target group:

All guests, as well as locals and other tourists in the region, are invited to use the pump track. It is particularly practical that the target group of campers usually have their bikes with them on camping holidays anyway. The modular pump track is a holiday highlight, especially for the little ones, and so they spend many hours riding each day.

Location & Size

The bike-friendly TCS Camping Salavaux Plage**** is located directly on Lake Murten in western Switzerland. Nestled between untouched nature and the longest sandy beach in Switzerland, the campsite is the ideal starting point for numerous bike tours. While the campsite is very large, the 65-metre-long Classic Pumptrack only takes up a small area between tents, trailers and caravans, but is also a central meeting point and magnet for all kids and young people. Targeted playing and gathering around and on the pumptrack ensures safety and quieter pitches on the rest of the campsite. If the space needs to be used for something else, the pumptrack can be dismantled easily, quickly and spontaneously and stored to save space. Larger layouts can also be created by purchasing individual modules.

Special feature:

THE MODULAR PUMP TRACK AS THE KEY TO SUCCESS. The so-called KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) demonstrably increase after the purchase of a pump track. Bookings are often made directly during the holiday for the next year with a longer stay.
By riding on the pump track on all wheels, the kids learn how to be safe on their sports equipment and can take this riding skill with them into traffic and on the surrounding bike tours. The skills provide self-confidence and "my best holiday experience".

Between Maria Alm and Hinterthal: Seven kilometers of touring fun – two new trails – one destination

What do you do when a popular biking area borders sensitive refuges – and at the same time, two places need to be better connected for tourism? The answer: a carefully planned infrastructure that protects nature and facilitates recreation. Five years of work have created a 7.3 km mountain bike connection between Maria Alm and Hinterthal with approximately 300 meters of elevation gain, as well as two new single trails – well-thought-out, close to nature, and future-oriented.

Trail maintenance in Armenia: Sharing knowledge and preserving trails

Whether it's a hiking trail, bike trail, or shared trail: A functioning route requires more than construction – it requires maintenance. In Armenia, we trained local crews to enable long-lasting, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly infrastructure. As ALLEGRA, we have been offering such courses for years: in Switzerland, Scandinavia, and around the world. Because only those who understand how a trail works can maintain it.

The history of coexistence

How did we get to the point where mountain bikers, hikers, and cows share the same trail? The history of coexistence in the Swiss Alps is older—and more exciting—than many people think. Graubünden is playing a pioneering role with Fairtrail, demonstrating how shared travel works: with respect, dialogue, and a pioneering spirit.

The Bikepark Moléson is growing

Since September 2024, the Moléson Bike Park has offered two varied flow trails for all skill levels – fluid, playful, and with Alpine panoramas. A natural, red enduro trail for technically skilled riders will follow in 2025.

In the flow through the Bike Park Moleson

The flow trails at Moléson Bike Park offer playful riding fun for every level – Modzon with plenty of jumps, Poya a bit more technical and twisty. Perfect for repeated descents and varied lines.
