Traffic-calmed areas without motorized traffic are the future of our inner cities! At the same time, the demands on urban planning are becoming ever greater. More focus on social interaction, more green spaces, traffic safety and exercise areas. Revitalize unused areas in a meaningful and sustainable way and make them more attractive, always with the focus on the children.

  • For more playgrounds and traffic safety for children
  • Transport transition: Children want to learn through play
  • Climate change: For less CO2 emissions in cities
  • For greener spaces and socially peaceful meeting areas

A few successful examples from the big city

HAMBURG: More green, more exercise, more places to stay. This is what the people of Hamburg in the Eimsbüttel district at Moorkamp have been wanting for a long time and so the Modular Pumptrack was quickly placed in this unusual place under the bridge for several weeks in the summer on a trial basis.

VIENNA: Wheel motor skills park next level. The bike motor skills park on Kaisermühlendamm in Vienna has 17 stations on an area of 8,000 square meters and is available to everyone free of charge. The area gives all children the opportunity to have fun with roller sports and to gain confidence

BERLIN: Multi cultural concrete waves. It's a perfect fit: Within five days, the previously unused area in the Berlin district of Neu-Kölln has become a meeting point for exercise. The extra-wide concrete waves are for all age groups, skill levels and roller sports: even wheelchairs!

BERN: Meeting point pump track. The combination of a circular course and a practice straight shows how versatile the waves can be. The practice straight with ground markings helps you get a good feel for the roller sports equipment and the waves.

In just three steps you too can have a central meeting point and a highlight right on your doorstep!

Between Maria Alm and Hinterthal: Seven kilometers of touring fun – two new trails – one destination

What do you do when a popular biking area borders sensitive refuges – and at the same time, two places need to be better connected for tourism? The answer: a carefully planned infrastructure that protects nature and facilitates recreation. Five years of work have created a 7.3 km mountain bike connection between Maria Alm and Hinterthal with approximately 300 meters of elevation gain, as well as two new single trails – well-thought-out, close to nature, and future-oriented.

Trail maintenance in Armenia: Sharing knowledge and preserving trails

Whether it's a hiking trail, bike trail, or shared trail: A functioning route requires more than construction – it requires maintenance. In Armenia, we trained local crews to enable long-lasting, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly infrastructure. As ALLEGRA, we have been offering such courses for years: in Switzerland, Scandinavia, and around the world. Because only those who understand how a trail works can maintain it.
