A little food for thought:
I think there is hardly a better location for a pump track than in the immediate vicinity of a mountain railway. The combination and synergies are simply too perfect not to use.
Right in front of the bike shop you can find out the right settings for your bike. It's the perfect area for a quick warm-up in the morning. The waves also invite you to practice specific skills. From riding berms to pumping or even doubling - there are many possibilities on this individual playground. What is your posture on your mountain bike, position of the pedals, direction of view, angle of the wrist, braking: so many aspects come into play.
Newbies and younger riders in particular can practice specifically in the valley area so that they can then confidently tackle the next level on the trails.
Another aspect that is also very exciting. Have you been thinking about establishing yourself as a mountain bike destination for a while? But how do you get started? A modular pump track can be the first step and set an example for both locals and tourists.
The really big mountain railways in Australia, Austria, Switzerland and others have recognized the potential and are winning the hearts of guests with pump track waves even in the off-season – and in the valley area.
