Welcome to the A-Team Switzerland

Auguste Métille joins our team as a new project manager in the "Planning, Tourism & Mobility" department. Based in Grandson, Auguste speaks fluent German and English in addition to French and will be supporting us, particularly in French-speaking Switzerland, starting immediately. Bon départ, Auguste!

100% MTB expertise

Auguste impresses with a comprehensive package of professional expertise. His dual training as a "spatial planner and tourism manager" is just the foundation. At his own bike school, he immersed himself in the world of mountain bike tourism, developing strategies with great success. Because this is his passion, he started his own business two years ago, focusing on consulting, planning, and implementing mountain bike destinations. He is now joining ALLEGRA, which also allows us to welcome several new clients in French-speaking Switzerland, whom Auguste will continue to support. His strengths lie particularly in stimulating the local economy and providing support with (permit) processes and financing issues.

With a clear, sustainable vision in mind!

Auguste is now going ALL(egra)-IN with us. His main task as project manager is varied and covers a broad spectrum of our services: from the planning of mountain bike trails, facilities, and hiking trails, to route and network planning, including signage concepts, and technical planning reports. Auguste will conduct analyses and develop concepts for (tourism) business models and public projects. He will also support us in monitoring and, on a case-by-case basis, demonstrate his versatility in construction and maintenance. He can fulfill his wish for "greater accessibility to this exciting sport" in sales and acquisition: After all, there are still many unused open spaces in French-speaking Switzerland (even) where we can easily inspire the next generation to take up mountain biking – with the help of modular pump tracks and bike parks. Exciting: Auguste is easyLoop's sales expert throughout Switzerland.

Traveling with enthusiasm (on the bike)

Like some of us, Auguste also worked as a "Swiss Cycling Guide" for a while, and cycling is clearly his second home. Auguste exudes professionalism, passion, and confidence. That certain ALLEGRA spark—which makes our team so unique—is just right: "My mission is to transform places into attractive MTB destinations. I want to create sustainable experiences and revitalize places through authentic infrastructure that highlights the beauty of nature."

Auguste? We look forward to sharing this excitement with you: Welcome to the A-Team!

Between Maria Alm and Hinterthal: Seven kilometers of touring fun – two new trails – one destination

What do you do when a popular biking area borders sensitive refuges – and at the same time, two places need to be better connected for tourism? The answer: a carefully planned infrastructure that protects nature and facilitates recreation. Five years of work have created a 7.3 km mountain bike connection between Maria Alm and Hinterthal with approximately 300 meters of elevation gain, as well as two new single trails – well-thought-out, close to nature, and future-oriented.

Trail maintenance in Armenia: Sharing knowledge and preserving trails

Whether it's a hiking trail, bike trail, or shared trail: A functioning route requires more than construction – it requires maintenance. In Armenia, we trained local crews to enable long-lasting, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly infrastructure. As ALLEGRA, we have been offering such courses for years: in Switzerland, Scandinavia, and around the world. Because only those who understand how a trail works can maintain it.

What a bike can do
