Project description:

Werner and his team needed just 5 days to build the Modular Pumptrack in the URBAN Edition from concrete modules in Berlin's multicultural Neukölln district. We are always amazed at how particularly durable this version is and the FLOW it brings, but that the 1.4 meter wide track can be built so quickly... Check!

Day 1: Site preparation

The first day is all about preparing the construction site. From the very first moment, it is important to work as precisely as possible, to create a level surface and to measure the area.

Thanks to the preparations in production, the construction teams have a precise schedule and know the dimensions and angles that must be adhered to. One challenge on the site in Berlin-Neukölln is access to the site, but the team on site masters this skillfully.

Day 2: Delivery of the modules

On day two, the shipping company delivers the modules directly from the factory – there is already a short journey behind the concrete waves. Particularly practical, as with the Classic Edition and the Park Edition The modules are transported on pallets.

This makes the next step easier: positioning the right modules strategically for the start of construction. Josef, production manager at Parkitect, also insisted on personally overseeing the flagship project in Berlin. And because the team is making such good progress, construction can even begin now.

Day 3: Playing Lego aka building

Today the modules can be assembled with millimeter precision, which the team finds a bit like playing with Lego - but it's certainly not a lack of fun. Only if the work is carried out with great attention to detail will the ends literally meet at the end and a flowing circuit in the Speedster layout will result.

The weather is playing along, but work can also be carried out in the rain – a crucial difference to construction sites on asphalt pump tracks.

Day 4: An end is (already) in sight!

Day 4 is also all about building and the progress the team is making is tremendous.

At the end of the day, only 4 small curve modules are still waiting to be put in place. The mood is good, the weather couldn't be better and everyone is very happy.

Day 5: It's a Match / Wedding Day / Touchdown!

Whatever you want to call it: In only 5 days Werner & Co completed the construction of the first modular pump track of the URBAN Edition in Germany in what felt like just a snap of the fingers.

That moment when the last module fits into the intended gap like a glove - incomparable for the whole team. And the first test lap on the skateboard is also a must - now all that's left is to seal the joints. In the following days, after a short break from the rain, the joints were sealed. This makes the driving experience even more flowing. In the following week, the TÜV came by briefly to inspect the system and the city will carry out some GALA construction work on the site.

Special feature:

Berlin-Neukölln could not have used the unused, very narrow and elongated area better for endless driving fun on the concrete waves.

Between Maria Alm and Hinterthal: Seven kilometers of touring fun – two new trails – one destination

What do you do when a popular biking area borders sensitive refuges – and at the same time, two places need to be better connected for tourism? The answer: a carefully planned infrastructure that protects nature and facilitates recreation. Five years of work have created a 7.3 km mountain bike connection between Maria Alm and Hinterthal with approximately 300 meters of elevation gain, as well as two new single trails – well-thought-out, close to nature, and future-oriented.

Trail maintenance in Armenia: Sharing knowledge and preserving trails

Whether it's a hiking trail, bike trail, or shared trail: A functioning route requires more than construction – it requires maintenance. In Armenia, we trained local crews to enable long-lasting, low-maintenance, and environmentally friendly infrastructure.
