Who am I and why ALLEGRA?
All facets of cycling are my passion. At Allegra, I can live out this passion in a great working environment with exciting people and projects. I have realized my passion for cycling and trails over the last ten years as director of the Finnish Cyclists' Association. My mission is to bring innovative solutions for cycling to Finland in order to inspire the younger generations in particular and encourage them to lead a healthy and active life and exercise in the fresh air. To do this, we need cool places in every neighborhood, on every doorstep. Would children prefer to cycle to school if there was a cool trail with a few small jumps and bumps? I am sure. I am sure that ALLEGRA can cover exactly these solutions, school routes, bike trails, pump tracks. I am happy to be part of the team.
My favorite product at ALLEGRA?
The modular pump track and bike park! My children are 4 and 7 years old. The youngest in particular is very motivated to use the bike, especially on trails and the pump track. If there is an option, he always chooses the adventure option. Riding with him opened my eyes: children see playgrounds EVERYWHERE. Our role as adults is to create these playgrounds for them and to support them in doing so.
