Hello Toby!

Who am I and why ALLEGRA?

My name is Tobias (Tobi) Hähnel. I am 34 years old. I am at Allegra because trail building and mountain biking are my absolute passion. My home base is in Germany in NRW, where unfortunately there are no mountains but lots of people. Luckily I turned that around a few years ago. Now I have lots of mountains and few people right on my doorstep. I have worked in various bike parks over the past few years and have now taken the step of creating things myself instead of improving what already exists. I coordinate the team and make decisions about possible obstacles together with them. I ensure that everyone is in a good mood and am the direct contact and link for customers on site. Of course, I always lend a hand when building the trail.

Besides, my grandpa always told me that if you earn money with your hobby, you never have to work. :)

My favorite product at ALLEGRA? 

I prefer to build black/red technical trails or jump lines 

What do I most like to talk to you about? 

I love traveling and exploring different cultures around the world, but if someone talks about bike tech, I can talk about it for hours. My specialty is - besides finishing the trail, i.e. aligning jumps and corner exits correctly - coordinating the team so that everyone does what they do best.
