Who am I and why ALLEGRA?
I started building trails in 2012 as a trail crew worker for the municipality of St. Moritz during the construction of the Olympia Flowtrail on the Corviglia. There I got the basis of my current knowledge from Shane Wilson, trail specialist at IMBA Trail Solutions, who accompanied us during the construction of the trail. I met Darco and Fadri from ALLEGRA for the first time and have stayed in touch with them ever since. I built two more trails for St. Moritz in 2013 and 2024. In 2015 I planned the first projects for ALLEGRA. From 2016 I was able to take over project and construction management for the construction and planning of the trails in the Bikerepublic Sölden for ALLEGRA. I have learned my knowledge of planning, building and maintaining trails over the last 12 years through working with experienced trail construction specialists from the USA, with environmental offices and spatial planners and expanded it with my own experience in countless projects. In addition to the knowledge of planning and building trails, over the years I have acquired in-depth knowledge of general mountain biking offerings. In addition to building pure mountain bike trails, I am happy to be able to implement hiking trail and coexistence projects.
