Hello Francois aka Foué!
Who am I and why ALLEGRA?
My name is François, but everyone calls me «"Foué"».
It all started with trail building, because I wanted to build some MTB trails around my house through the hills. Eventually, it grew into something more until it finally became my profession.
My motto is: «Rouncher a hum de calhau.» That's Gascon, a dialect from southwestern France, where I come from. It roughly translates to: „"Drive so hard that the stones smoke."“
My field of expertise today is working as Machinist in trail building. However, I also have a lot of experience in classic trail building by hand and in timber construction.
I live in Châtel (France) and worked there for the bike park for many years.
My favorite product at ALLEGRA?
My favorite style is a mix of Flow trail and Northshore, with a few natural and steep sections in between.
