Hello, "Howzit" Fanie!
Who am I and why ALLEGRA?
I AM, BECAUSE WE ARE.
This comes from the African expression, Ubuntu.
I’m also a dreamer, not quite like John Lennon, but I do dabble in the occasional unplugged campfire guitar sessions.
I believe in the power of bicycles to shape our society for the better, and that trails are the corridors which connect us with our environment, ourselves and with each other. Ubuntu.
This conviction aligns perfectly with Allegra’s approach. Allegra is a visionary collective with a creative, pioneering spirit. This gets me fired up!
My favorite product at ALLEGRA?
What is your favorite song or your favorite ingredient in a good meal…? ;) You need everything to make it a whole.
If I had to choose anyway, it would be the Bike Trails, destination development and the ALLEGRA Academy – the perfect combination of child, inspiration and further education.
What do I most like to talk to you about?
What inspires me is to bring purpose and meaning to the world. Whether it’s through bike trails, pump tracks, music, art, food or a combination of all of these. I have a heart for wildlife conservation and believe that cycling and trails can address, even solve some of the deepest pressing social, cultural and environmental issues we’re facing, protect some of earth’s critically endangered species and preserve some of our most vulnerable natural environments. All of this while stimulating and growing the economy in a healthy, sustainable way.
But let’s talk about this further over a perfectly extracted single origin espresso.
